Show me Some Lovin!

Hey now!

I was pleasantly surprised anew for the second time today. My blog is Nominated for Blog of the Week, Week 7 in the Rainbow Bloggers Philippines.

http://www.rainbowbloggers.com/

I am quite surprised. This blog is not necessarily 'out and out' rainbow. It does deal with gay themes though, such as Pink Poetry and what not's but I do not really see it at par with most 'militant' and 'actively' gay blogs elsewhere.

I thank whoever nominated me, and please please please, show the Batchoy Boi some lovin.

Stir in and do vote for me. Puhleeeez? HEHEHEEHE

Thank you Yffar of Rainbow Bloggers Philippines. Now watcha waitin for, vote now na na!

Mother Now Blogs!

I was bored and waiting for time to pass me by this morning. I am hoping that banks are open for at least a half day today. I'm running out of cash and my beloved ATM card is demagnetized and hence I can not withdraw money and have to do an over the counter transactions.

To while away the time, I checked on the usual online stuff I do. Out of boredom I googled my own name. One wondeful surpirse popped-out. My literary mother, Princess of the Literary Seas now blogs! Upon closer scrutiny though, the blog is not authored by her. One of her avid students, protegee and friend Lloyd Celis maintains the blog for her. Neverthelss, it took my breath away that now, my dearly beloved mother has made the blogosphere more brilliant.

This is the link http://johniremileteodoro.blogspot.com/

It has also been quite a while since I last posted a poem in this blog,n so I am lifting one poem mother John wrote and dedicated to me. We were together in Alubihod beach Guimaras when Baboy texted me his idea of a 'break-up' text. Mother John was with me during the difficult first hours of the sordid affair. Writer to writer, Mentor to Disciple, Poet to Poet, Peer to peer, Mother to Daughson, Heart to heart, she consoled me the best way she knows how; through a moving poem. I love you mother. Welcome to the blogging world!

Pagpatay sa Paghigugma
(Para kay Luis Batchoy)***

Ni John Iremil Teodoro

Rügya kag kadya sa puti nga daray-ahan
nga nagapaitot sa esmeralda nga dagat
kag brusko nga sirak kang adlaw
ang perpekto nga lugar kag tinion
agüd patraidor nga patyün ang paghigugma.
Pareho kang mga victim song
nanday Sharon Cuneta kag Rey Valera
nga ginpalauylauyan ta kanta kagabii
sa videokihan nga buta kang mga
mangingisda nga lingin,
indi natün maintiyendihan ang text message
kang laki nga imo ginahigugma:

Luis plangga ta ka
but 8s nt enuf 4 me
2 stay. halong ka

Amo dya ayhan ang postmodernismo
nga paghigugma?
Nga ang pagbülagay sa mga itüm
nga letra lamang basahün
samtang nagaamba ang magagmay nga balüd
kag nagaigüng ang sangka baroto sa lawud?

Sige, anak, mag-uba ‘kaw.

Nina Sharon Cuneta at Rey Valera
Na pinagsasaan nating kinanta kagabi
Sa vidyukihan na puno ng mga
Mangingisdang lasing,
Hindi natin maintindihan ang text message
Ng lalaking iyong minamahal:

Luis mhal kita
but 8s nt enuf 4 me

Huwag kang umiyak.
Libong taon na na maasin ang dagat.

The Calm

The past few weeks have been a flurry of activities. Non stop party one after the other. Lately, I have been sleeping for whole days on end. Now there is peace and quiet.

My older sister left for the states last Friday. They had to go back and vacationing is over for them. I will sorely miss her, Daddy Wills and cutie Excelsa. There was a promise for me to either go there as soon as the Bar Exams have been taken, or they come back for my graduation next March. I need to go for renewal of my Visa. One more travel perhaps, and as a promised graduation gift. An Asian tour of choice or C2C. Convert to Cash. Then again, let's not count the chicks until they're hatched.

In turn, Sister Jinky left the next day, early morning. Much as I would like to see her off, she left too early for my nocturnal self. She took Jean Jovi with her. although the rest of the broodlings might be doing school here eventually, and she will come back in a month's time, leaving is still leaving,

Big brother is off to Boracay with her wifey and friends. No body invited no one. Oh well. Not that anybody is thrilled to go with them anyways.

Now, we saw Mudrah and Fudrah off to the airport. They are going to Thailand for three days on a vacation cum biznez venture trip. No one invited no body. Shet! I would have been thrilled to go. Then again, let the couple be, I say.

Now there's peace and quiet in the house. No more flurry of activity and the rest room is just as it used to be. Hehehehe. I complain internally how infernal the rest room looks like with everybody using the three of them cr's in the house, and with the one closest to my room as the nastiest scene of all. Isa pa naman to sa mga pinakapaborito kong tambayan sa bahay na to. Oh well... I really have a problem with goodbye's. I can't get used to it. I hate it and try to avoid it when I can. I gives me a deep sinking feeling that I do not like.,

Lil Sis Shane is back to school with her summer load. Lil Sis Sarah and I did bonding time last night. Perhaps one of the last for a long time. I would be preoccupied with my own summer load next week. The hiatus has ended and I intend to make good time for summer with summer load.

Meanwhile, I'm off to Roxas City by Wednesday for my annual Holy Week panata. More on this in the next blog post. It is so quiet in the house now that it seems depressing to hear my keyboards click. Not until a text message came in from Perlas. The gang is at MO2 Ice.

Now where's my "OHMAHGAWD I hate me for being so Glam' shirt? Errr Palm Sunday na pala.

Emphasis on PALM.

Cheerios! Heheheheh

C3 Casual Coffee Conversations

My Cake says it all.

March 31, 2009 Alas kwatro ng hapon.

Instead of the usual concept/themed party sa bahay, I decided to just do a casual coffee afternoon party with select friends.

Mas mainam pala ang ganito. Lesser costs, lesser pagod, lesser paghahanda. Punta ka lang sa venue, order, converse and leave when you feel like it. Kung hindi makapunta ang iba, so much the better. Mas konti babayaran mo. Hehehehe. Best of all, may energy ka pang natitira para lumabas naman at gumimik elsewhere pag katapos ng party. Walang ililigpit, walalng lilinisin, walang huhugasan.

The Night and Morning Before the Bash

March 31

The day before, tulog ako. Oh well, mauna man kayo, I still say, "See You In Court!" Gusto nila akong kunan ng babae that night! Torohan ang gusto nilang mangyari at ako ang bida! Watdapakenshet!

Not that I can not or will not do it, pero hindi ko close ang ibang nandun and this shindig is their night, not mine. Haller, birthday ko at lahat, gawin ba naman akong turero for their sheer viewing pleasure? So Roman Gladiator, porn version!

OLSC (stands for Obscure Law School Classmate): Dude!

Di ko alam kung insulto or what.

OLSC: Insulto? In what way?

Me: Parang it's a no-win kasi eh. If I say yes, nakakahiya at napaka improper naman nun. Lalabas nun, bastos ako at malaswang manyak. If I say no, lalabas naman na faint hearted ako at kill joy.

Me: Ha? Ahmmm dude, jan lang ako sa kanto. Ingat sa pag dadrayb ha. Lasing ka na yata talaga eh. Naparami yata inom mo kanina eh.

SHET! Ano yun?!?!?!?

I was planning to go to church to pray that morning to Thank my Christian God for another year and for all the blessings. Umalis ako ng bahay at naglakad lakad lang kasi malapit naman ang simbahan from where I live. Nagyoyosi ako habang naglalakad, on the side approaching traffic. When it passed me by, lumingon ako. Nag stop. Gumilid, at nag pull over. POTAH! Sya nga talaga.

SYA!

I walked towards the car. Nagliligpit sya ng passenger side seat. Shet! Isasakay ako?

RS ( for Road Sign): Hey! Luis! Where are you headed to? GOD! I missed you!
Mental Note - Mukha syang ngarag at pumangit by 10,000 points.

Me: Hi. Jan lang sa simbahan.

RS: Happy Birthday nga pala. Lalo kang gumagwapo ah!
Mental Note - Hala! Naalala. Minsan ko lang sinabi sa kanya ah! Naman no! Gugwapo pang lalo! KAFAL!

Me: You remembered! Thanks!

RS: I do! I remember everything about you. Ahmmm...Im sorry about

Me: (Interrupting him) No, no need to say sorry. I understand. By the way yung kulambo pala that I left when I last slept over...

RS: Ahmm... Pedeng wag mo na lang kunin? Pedeng dun na lang muna yon? I told you, I remember everything... Everything Luis.

Me: Oh, I see. You do. That's why you suddenly disappeared. Kuntento ka na sa remembering.
Mental Note - Bite it, Luis! Birthday mo. Nasa gilid kayo ng kalsada. Down Beeyotch!

RS: I'm sorry... So, can I see you later? Or can we have lunch or something? It's your birthday after all. (And before I could answer) I will call you, please, don't text muna sa number ko. May humahawak kasi nun eh.

Me: Ah! So that explains it. May jowa ka na pala eh. Why bother with lunch?

RS: (Medyo pained ang mukha) Nagkabalikan kasi kami eh.
Mental Note - What a loser! Eh sya tong reklamo na di na nya kaya yung ex na yon kaya nya binreyk eh. Kesyo demanding at pineperahan daw sya and all. Bakit bumalik sya dun?

Me: Don't worry. I have no intentions. I think you have to go now. You're off to work, right?

RS: Sorry talaga. Ahmmm... I missed you, really. Don't I get to hug you, or at least give you a birthday kiss?
Mental Note - SNAP! No more Mr. Nice Guy!

Me: OH! Just a hug and a kiss? That's all you want? Birthday ko pa naman. I was planning to give you a long, hard f*ck. Sayang! A hug and a kiss it is.

I quickly kissed him, right there and then. In broad daylight. Long and hard, to show him what he's missing. It took him three seconds to recover from the initial shock. He kissed back firecely, hugged me tighter, and yes, Batchoy Denizens, tight enough to feel his growing erection. He DID, miss me!

Me: I have to go. Bye...

RS: God! You really are something else! Maswerte ang taong makakapgsabing kanya ka!

Me: I know! Too bad, you let your chance up, and will never have it again. Not in this lifetime. You take good care okay? Work harder now. He needs all the money he can get from you. I mean, help... Have to go now, really. I gotta have me a Happy Birthday. Bye!

I turned my back, walked to the church, and finally put a sign up for him, alongside the DEAD END SIGN.

Now where was, I? Oh, yeah, I was gonna have me my Happy Birthday...

Dawn Breaks

Sunday March 29

The next day, birthday nga ng Little Baby Boy Kiane ko. I told her to just bring him to the party, because it was a children's party. We plotted on how to get rid of Damon, and go have coffee. Heheheheh Get rid talaga eh no?

It was such a fun fun night. The conversations I have with Dawn are at best, cerebral, yet effin' "mababaw" at times. We got to talk about her issues, her failed friendships, on burning bridges, and what nots. We transferred to a favored Videoke Bar, and sa sobrang saya ni Dawn, she bought the whole house a round of drinks! TARAYFUL!

We went back to the coffe shop, to perhaps spend some moments with my blog goddess, Lyka Bergen of the blog LYKA BERGEN AND HER STEP SISTERS. We learned that pabalik na sya ng estateyts the next day. So parang despedida na din. We got to process and chat about friendships, cyclic, living, and all that jazz. Later on, some fab frienbds of the Bergen joined us. I adored the New York Bitch, Joseph, or whateverhisnameis! Hehehe

Pamorningan session yun since Dawn has to grab the first boat trip back to Bacolod, for the first work dayof the week. She undergoes training that day, for moving up for a new post. In other words, promoted ang lola mo. I am so proud and happy for her.

Just as she was about to board the boat, the skies wrote a magical cap to that wonderful night of friendship. I love you Dawn! It's written in the skies. See you back here this week end. Mwah!
